    Pyramid Power

This issue wraps up the convoluted story of who the Lansinars are.  Turns out they are an ancient race who had to adapt when one of their scientists inadvertently caused an ice age.  They sent forth envoys to find a new home to live, and they accidentally became the Egyptian pantheon of gods and led the building of the pyramids.  Not that its relevant but in the silver age a similar story was told (it was around issue 236 in volume 1) about how the pyramids were built so it is strange to read it here again.  Anyway Diana and Champion escape from their ice confinements but don't bash their way to the truth, rather they talk their way there.  the story was a bit of a letdown, especially considering after four issues of lead-in Cave Carson does almost nothing in the end.  There is some kind of weak knowledge of evolution being thrown around too, though I didn't mind that part as much because it was the nicer part of the story.  Overall just an average issue.
