    To begin anew

There are some things about John Byrne that I like and some things that I don't like.  For instance even though he a decent enough artist and writer, I find when he does both at the same time that both suffer from it.  A perfect example of this here is the cover to this issue which is one of the worst pieces of Wonder Woman art I have ever seen.  Another thing he does is that he seems to have a fascination with the Apokolips crowd and likes them in his stories.  Despite those two drawbacks in this issue, it is still a decent enough launch for the new creative team.  There are some decent new characters introduced and the city Diana has come to (Gateway City) is well described as the type of place she would want to be in after what she has been through.  If anything this issue only lacks in the it follows a really great story arc.
