As seems to be the new standard in the series, this issue tells two stories, one somewhat formulaic, the other not really formulaic, but also not very well told.  The first story deals with Wonder Woman competing against a version of herself from an alternate dimension in a series of tests.  As usual the resolution to these challenges is poorly conceived and in the end of course the two versions decide to work together.  Usually the lack of scientific knowledge in the series is based around some form of astrophysics, but here it also incorporates the fundamentals of flight, as Wonder Woman fashions a boomerang out of a tree without any of the characteristics that make a boomerang fly as it does.  The second story breaks the fourth wall as the Amazons want to include something in a time capsule to celebrate the release of this the 100th issue.  Diana goes through a number of threats yet none of them get recorded on film for one reason or another until finally one does and they seal the capsule.  This issue is still below average but not quite as bad as some of the recent ones.
