Old stories
The Zero Hour crossover gave the writers of each DC series the opportunity to go into the histories of their characters and change one item which they thought would help them to better write their characters. Here, the history of what happened between Herakles, Hippolyta and Antiope is retold as Diana discusses with Artemis what has happened to her branch of Amazons. I thought this was a novel approach, using the mask prominently both in that story and then later in the contest itself. Though this is the second issue of the contest, it hasn’t actually started yet, but the buildup to it is good.
