Just out of curiousity? Does anyone know if there is a reason why Wonder Girl (both Donna Troy and Cassandra Sandsmark) are virtually non existant outside of Comic Media?   

There have been several animated series where other sidekicks have made cameos as civilians and in their superhero aliases. There has even been a Teen Titans series and Wonder Girl (Donna Troy) was a founding member. The new Young Justice series has also replaced Wonder Girl (Cassandra Sandsmark) and she was also a founding member. I mean Miss Martian is on the Young Justice promos and she has just shown up in 2006. Donna Troy has been around since the 1960's and Cassandra Sandsmark since the late 1990's.  

If anyone knows the answer to this would you tell me?     

 
That is kinda lame. I guess they just figured they had enough characters.

I for one am very upset that they aren't sticking with the original Young Justice line-up for the upcoming animated series...I also would rather they stick with the character's Young Justice era costumes

How come Wonder Woman can't appear Cherry? Is it a licence thing? Do the makers of the old show still own the licence? "

There was a thing with the license but not anymore at least for Wonder Girl. A version of her will appear in the Young Justice cartoon.

Donna would probably appear as Superboy's girlfriend.

there is no licensing issue with Batman and he will be appearing heavily on the show....the issue with Batman is that DC/WB doesn't want to over saturate the market with multiple film adaptation versions of him....he practically always has his own cartoon and the movies and his comics so that right there is 3 versions of the same character....it could get very confusing to new readers and viewers of the movies and cartoons "

Donna troy made two brief cameos in the teen titans animated series and as we all know Cassie is now in Young Justice.

Also, Donna Troy is on SBFF.

And Cassie is on Young Justice.

So thats 2 appearances for Wondergirl.

People are dumb. if they don't see it on tv or in a movie they don't really know about it.

they know of Wonder Woman but how many people outside the comic really know her and her powers and abilities. when it come to DC comics people only really know about batman and superman and all their spin-off characters.

She just appeared on Young Justice, Big Bang Theory, Justice League: Doom & Superman/Batman The Apocolypse.

Nope that only reaches DC fan at best, all ages know the old LC tv show of wonder woman that was based of the golden age where she is all good and not that powerful, ppl dont know the amazon warrior who will kill to win as strong as superman fast as the flash, and a damn good fighter, ppl out side of dc and the comic world dont even know she can fly. ppl can only name like three at the most of her nemesis, and her origin story ppl did not even know that until the wonder woman movie in 2009 that only taped into the characters world.

Cassie's pretty new in the world outside of comics. I mean I'm suprised even Superboy has come so late.

I never really knew Donna, never read a thing about her.
