Have you seen "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" yet?  (Read the Comic Vine review HERE).  Whenever a comic book movie comes out, you can pretty much bet on there being a toy line to go with it.  These have been out for a few days now.  Are they worth picking up?  Are they good to play with?  Are they good for displaying?  Watch and see.

I'm gonna pick up Deadpool and Wolvie. Maybe Gambit.

The figures don't look too bad but the scarred Deadpool looks like Baraka! LOL

In the net I saw there were a cylops and iceman figure from this line. Is it true? Cuz cyclops costume is his uncanny version, and iceman costume is well, not from the movie nor the ultimate version. I think if it exist, I'm gonna buy it.

I'm not gonna watch all of that (the nerd factor has reached critical velocity), but I do find it odd that the Sabretooth action figure resembles Tyler Mane. It's odd because he's not. in. the movie......

I got DP in comic get up. Texas must have gotten lucky because that's all we got as far as I can tell.

i wanned the gambit one, but i saw in the shop i webt in that they were 4 inch figures, not 6 inches.

They don't look bad but I'm not a huge fan of the little figures.

Its funny that they have Maverick when in the movie it was Agent Zero which ONLY had the name in common with the actually character, very interesting(disappointing).

It's the same with the Deadpool and Gambit figures.  I would say the idea is they hope these figures will have a longer shelf life than the movie might have.  By having "classic" versions of the characters, comic book readers might be interested in still getting them after the buzz of the movie fades. 

And @Venom=sickest: There is a 'movie' version of Sabretooth along with the Tyler Mane version.  The image wasn't in the pic I posted but you can see it on the back of the package in the video.

I picked up Deadpool last night.


I'm gonna take it back though, my other figures tower over it.

I do want to get the REAL Deadpool figure as well as some of the other 3 3/4 inch figures from the Marvel Universe line. I've already got Black Panther & Wolverine in his X-Force black suit. Now I just need Iron Man, Bullseye, & Daredevil.

3 3/4 inch is the best size for figures, but $7.99 each is steep for a figure that size. If they were $5.00 or $6.00, then that would be perfect.

Went into Smyths today, to get a few figures. They had nothing but the Deadpool from the comics and one Wolverine. 5 Euro each.
