A long-lived mutant with the rage of a beast and the soul of a Samurai, James "Logan" Howlett's once mysterious past is filled with blood, war, and betrayal. Possessing an accelerated healing factor, keenly enhanced senses, and bone claws in each hand (along with his skeleton) that are coated in adamantium; Wolverine is, without question, the ultimate weapon.
Well after seeing Wolverine, I really wanted to read some of his own books, I like him in New Avengers but I wanted to read something that was just about him, I was thinking of getting Wolverine Origins but when I heard about this new ongoing book I'd figured I give it a try
Its more of a classic Wolverine story compared to some of his latest adventures, Kinda iffy with 1st iss (cuz does he REALLY need a new book?) but 2nd was enough to buy the series--at least for this arc
yea wolverine doesnt need another book, but ive been enjoying this a lot. its pretty brutal and good stories just straight up about wolverine, not going into depth about other things going on the marvel universe. and im not a huge fan of tie ins and huge storylines, so thats a great. and im always stoked about new titles.
I like Wolverine: Weapon X , it really reminds me of many of his solo stories from the 80s. No convoluted history/origin mysteries/crossover tie-ins, just Logan on the trail of some bad guys and kickin butt. Logan is better in those types of stories.
