Ok, so I was reading The Mighty Avengers issue numbers 8 & 9 and Logan was infected with the symbiote, but his body was fighting it off due his healing factor. Here's my question, why didn't it do the same freakin thing when the symbiote bonded with him years ago during the "Shiver" story arc?

LoL. C'mon, it's not that bad is it Methos? Doesn't it make sense that he would have continuity? Wait. He's a mutant, never mind. LoL.

They weren't normal symbiotes. They were created into/onto a person through an airborne virus that passes through the skin. The virus was not able to pass through the skin of sentry, luke cage, iron man, etc so they were not changed. The virus was able to pass through Wolverine's skin, but cause of his healing factor it was fighting it off.

    Nobody says:

"They weren't normal symbiotes. They were created into/onto a person through an airborne virus that passes through the skin. Still the symbiotes bond with their hosts on a molecular level, so he still should've been able to fight them back.
