I don’t think the claws would be my ultimate power.  Walking through walls would be good but telepathy would be the one. It would be very handy in cutting down on the dating process.

You would be in and out of a bar in five minutes because it would only take that long to weigh up your options.

Any one of those and I'd be fine :).

And, Gambit's powers would have absolutely no practical aplication..... pointless.

i would take hulklings powers look him up everyone.. and if you like telepathy then try to get a role for cable he is pretty cool

My 1st choice would be Teleportation (No need to waste money on any type of transportation). 2nd choice would be flight or some type of self propulsion. 3rd choice would be self duplication (nothing like having your own personal army).

as for me my first choice would be some powers that iron fist would have

also super strength

and an assortment of mental powers like telekinesis, levitation

combustion

re-animation which is basically  motion to the motionless

healing factor

invulnerability as much as resistance to firearms and explosive force

i guess heat vision wouldn't hurt

shapeshifting

oh and astral projection would be fun



 

Am I the only one who got a weird vibe from this? First walking through walls, then telepathy? Both seem really good for invading people's privacy. I'm surprised he didn't mention X-ray vision or invisibility.

I'd have to agree with Jackman, Telepathy would be my ultimate power. Maybe not for the dating but there are so many other possibilities :)

Flatulence ventriloquism.   The ability to make my farts appear up to a mile away.  "Don't blame me, the dog did it."  Yeah, that's the ticket.

To me, one of my favorite poweres to read about is TERRESTRIAL TELEPORTATION.  The character LILA CHENEY from Claremont's latter days as Uncanny X-Men scribe was the first character I read about who had that power.  It's the first power I think of and it just rolls off the tongue whenever I've been in a convo having to do with "what powers you would have".  If you had the tech, you could harness an awesome spacesuit fit to withstand any atmosphere, and then you just start studying our galaxy, to start.  That's what I would do.  Chart the Milky Way, then see why/if  the hell Jupiter's so deadly.  If things go wrong, with enough training and study, you could be back in your bedroom in a wink.  Teleportation has always fascinated me, especially on a terrestrial level.  Meaning, ANYWHERE in the universe...if you know how to get there.  Of course, you would also have to learn about time travel, because if you're not presice, you could also be doing some serious time-jumping.

As for Jackman's reply, being able to phase through walls/objects would be dope.  You'd become the greatest sports star in history.  And as a telepath, if you're not careful, you'll hear a lot more than you wish to.  Sure, it'll get you in or out of the sack quicker, but most of us know that's not what having a super power is about(unless it was manipulation, then you would almost HAVE to try it at least once).  But honestly, when is it, as guys, that we wish we had some form of telepathy?  Bingo.  The next morning, when you're driving back to her car or home or where ever, and she hits you off with the "in passing/'I need to get this off my chest because I just slept with you and don't know where this is going'" info that she's a felon, or legally crazy, or something that makes you think, "Why did I not pry her brain for more than just wondering if she's down for some 2 AM action?"...yeah, you'll curse being a telepath.  And as for the claws, well, you saw the scars on Silver Fox in the movie.  Even with a healing factor, and death-clad nightmares, no one else is safe in the same bed with retractable claws, unless they had a healing factor as well.

if i could have just one power i would definitely want to be able to teleport anywhere that i wanted to go because im in a wheelchair and its hard for me to get to a lot of places and i dont really like flying in planes very much because im afraid of heights and driving everywhere takes way too long but if i could have more than one power i would still have teleportation, i would want to have a suit like spawn so even if i was knocked out it could protect me, i would want to be able to shape shift into anything pretty much just like the t-1000 from terminator or the termintor from the 3rd movie, i would want to be immortal, i would want to be super strong, and have telepathy and i think thats all lol for now at least
