It's been said that Wolvie can regenerate from a single drop of blood or a bit of brain or bone marrow (see his fight with Nitro when he was reduced to a skeleton) so what would keep these tissues from forming whole separate bodies when they are removed from him?
Wolverine
Character » Wolverine appears in 16088 issues.
A long-lived mutant with the rage of a beast and the soul of a Samurai, James "Logan" Howlett's once mysterious past is filled with blood, war, and betrayal. Possessing an accelerated healing factor, keenly enhanced senses, and bone claws in each hand (along with his skeleton) that are coated in adamantium; Wolverine is, without question, the ultimate weapon.
What keeps Wolverine's lost tissues from becoming clones of him?
Look at how many appearances Wolverine makes every month... Marrow clones
Good question. Suddenly I'm thinking this would make a great Robot Chicken skit. Or maybe Family Guy or Mad TV.
" @The_Peter_Cosmic: @The_Peter_Cosmic: Look at how many appearances Wolverine makes every month... Marrow clones "It all makes sense now....
@JairamGanpat It's so obvious now, I was wondering how he could be in hell, be a vampire, and be normal in X-force and the Avengers all at once.
LOL!" @The_Peter_Cosmic: @The_Peter_Cosmic: Look at how many appearances Wolverine makes every month... Marrow clones "
I dont know the specifics on that, but I have heard the same... I remember something about it working if he had "enough energy" in that drop of blood or etc. So, maybe it works like whatever piece of him has the most energy dominates the regeneration ability.... furthermore, I am also pretty sure that this ability is a bit exagerated or the idea was toyed with in the past but there isnt anything that I know of that shows this happening... proove me wrong, please ;)!
@weaponx
I haven't heard about it being related to what part of him has the most energy. Do you mean energy as in calories, or as in his will, soul, aura etc. He can come back from almost nothing in a very short time now and I'm not sure where that energy is supposed to come from.
Marvel should run with this itd be an easy out for everyone (myself included) bitchin about Logan being everywhere
I don't think Marvel is going to turn Wolverine into Lobo to appease fans that have difficulty grasping the fact that there are more than enough days (a lot LOT more) in a year to account for all of Wolverine's appearances." Marvel should run with this itd be an easy out for everyone (myself included) bitchin about Logan being everywhere "
