If Wolverine lifted Thor's hammer he would truly be a an unstoppable killing machine.

It would be the PIS moment of all time, though. He definitely spends a lot of time in morally dark grey territory.

His height would increase to such an extent he could now ride on all amusement park rides without fear of height requirements.

I wish people cared more about character and less about how powerful someone is.

I've honestly gotten to the point where I don't even want to pick up a book with Wolverine in it any way, this would be the last straw for me and Marvel if it happened

yeah Logan has so much blood on his hands and so many "not so good" deeds under his belt he would never be able to lift it.
