Was Wolverine Soft In Films?

I felt like he was notg that tough badass he was in the comics. Do anybody agree? His character seemed watered down.

He had a few great moments where you genuinely saw Wolverine there, particularly X2 during the mansion raid scene, but yes, for ratings sake, he was a bit watered down. The trouble is, in the volumes they were taking, Wolverine would have had even MORE attention that what we already saw, and that's a big no-no.

Storm and Rogue were the most watered down, imo.

Very soft..  They should of def made wolverine origins rated R so we could of saw how brutal him and sabertooth could have really gotten.

I don't think he was soft as much as he was annoying and whiny.............................forced even.  Hugh Jackman's acting range for Wolverine went from overly angry, to crying.  No inbetween whatsoever.  The way he delivered some of the lines made me go "why did they "OK" this scene?  It's awful"

I kind of feel like there way no way they could portray Wolverine the way we are used to him being in the comics and only have a pg-13 rating.Any movie about "real" Wolverine would be bloody as heck,a lot of drinking, cussing, hooking up with women.
That just can't be accomplished with a pg-13 movie. So yes,I think he was soft in the film and not to mention his story itself was pretty much wrecked.

I felt Huge Jackman played the role well and gave us a good Wolverine, the only problem was that we we couldn't see the blood and real violence we see in the comics because the movies ratings.

Yeah, I think he did the best he could with the stories he had to work with.
It was the writing that was bad not the actor.

of course. if those movies were rated R then he could have possibly been more badass.

Hugh Jackman plays a great Wolverine, hopefully "The Wolverine" will be rated R.
