    Wolvie haters will probably love to pick on this thread, and there might also be a handful of similar topics, but I simply couldn't resist. Please feel free to continue this thread with any memorable events, one liners, memories of Wolvie, may it be funny, tragic, cathartic, monumental, fun, whatever your heart dictates.

    I for one would start with a funny,  "father figure up yer @ss" scene:

    Hell, GT, that Gif made me roll'n'roar for 10 full minutes! The MumblePuss picture fills me with suspicion, though: is that Mickey Mouse diguised as the Wolvster? I knew letting Disney buy Marvel was a bad move...

    My number #1 is any single time he calls himself " the ol' canucklehead "
    its just funny as hell having this hardcore tough guy saying something that goofy.

    And I can never get the image out of my mind of the many times in the old
    Animated Series he yelled out  " I go...where I WANNAAAAAAAA GOOOOOO!!!! "
    lmao!

    someone please, please post the video clip of Wolverine getting the meat out of the fridge
    in the animated series. I can't find it.

    My favorite moment from the X-movies was in the 2nd one when the soldiers infiltrate the mansion. "You picked the wrong house bub".
    Besides that. The times he gets owned by Cyclops. xP

    Cyclops rules :D

    On topic: I don't know what issue it is, but it's an extra issue thrown in in my copy of Wolverine: Agent of SHIELD. It deals with Logan's time in a Concentration Camp during WW2, and it's just epic. Enemy of the State is pretty epic all around though. The fight against the Gorgon was sweet.

    Then you must adore most of the Hama storie, 'cause the G.I. Joe mastermind had Wolvie call himself "Ol' Canucklehead a whoooole lottaa time" XD And yeah, blast that salami! Not to mention the turkey incident...XD

    @jesusjoe:  That was exactly what I was planning to post, Joe! Thanks for uploading it! Fatal Attractions doesn't seem to be very popular around here, but the last issue of it, written by Larry Hama and drawn by Adam Kubert, is one of the most marvelous Wolvie stories ever for me. Wolvie's "saying farewell" to Jubilee is also beautiful.

    @FadeToBlackBolt:
    I think you're talking about issue 32, volume 2 or 3 (depends on whether yxou count the 4 issue mini series of Wolvie as the first volume or not). A pretty good Millar story. Here's the comicvine link to it:
    http://www.comicvine.com/wolverine-prisoner-number-zero/37-114056/

     And now, let's move on to some pub etiquette and some brooding over the negative effects of civilisation:

    Oh my God, where did Logan develop his love for corny word-wits? Not that I haven't been rolling from laughter here for 10 minutes after reading that. And boy, he sure knows how to articulate properly without lips! ;) This part makes me glad Logan's not the lead singer of Slipknot. Just imagine him howl: "If you're five-five-five then I'm SNIKT-SNIKT-SNIKT! XO  The art kicks ass, by the way, is it drawn by Derek Robertson? I love the way he draws Wolverine!

    Glad you liked it. He's called Darick, not Derek, Robertson actually; guess his parents were 'too cool' for 'traditional' names. But dammit if it's not that type who raise the coolest artists, a fact that deserves recognition with yet another crazy moment from that same story. Gotta love the facial expressions here, particularly since Wolvie still doesn't have a face.  Written, in case you hadn't guessed, by ol' Garth Ennis- usually not a fan of his humorous stuff, but this story is just Plan 9 from Outer Space style awesome.

    And now for a piece with appallingly poor art, but certainly a pretty unusual Wolverine moment- from What If? v2 16.

    Followed by an ol' classic from Uncanny before it was Uncanny X-Men #110; the precursor to the Fastball Special

    And, because I saw someone suggest that Wolverine was a good mentor in another thread the other day, and I wish to break all your browsers with excessive imagery, a few issues later in Uncanny #129. Kitty Pryde discovers all about the X-Men in a malt shop, whilst Wolverine honorably helps guard the entrance from the counter...

    @jesusjoe:
    Oh, it's DERICK Robertson? Sorry and thanks for the info! Rucka's run wouldn't have been the same without Robertson. He's managed to make Wolverine extremely intimidating. At one of the panels in issue 2, vol.2, I thought ot myself: "Man, if a guy looking like this would grin at me like that on the street I'd sure piss in my pants out of fear!"

    Oh, yeah, The only thig that's more entertaining than Cyclops owning Wolverine is maybe when Colossus does the same! I guess Logan becomes very siletn every time they ask him about the origin of his famous Fastball Special attack...XD
    Regarding Wolverine's Father figure issues: it is a thing I find totally fascinating in him. I mean, you have a guy here who has severe psychic issues and personal flaws, yet he still manages to inspire, help and communicate witjh all these kids, though one'd think the youth should be kept away from a man such as Logan.

    Fantastic pictures, weaponx! I especially like that of Logan stabbing Magneto, a scene that manages to be gritty and emotional at the same time. Even though it's strange how many times Wolverine's been able to stab Magnus despite the adamantium bonded to his skeleton. I also love Fatal Attractions, especially the final part written by Larry Hama.

    Wolverine's brutal charm and one liners + slapstick humor = a vast array of awesome. It would be kickass beyond comprehension to have this scene reimagined in the upcoming Wolverine movie or an animated series: imagine the subway train (is that the right AmE term?) arriving at the station with an ever decreasing pace till gently stopping; the automated door opening slowly opening with a quiet creak, that the thug blitzing out driven by the flaming pain in his arse, screaming like a little girl! XD

    It's Old Man Logan or the Wolverine from alternate reality and i think u should read the first two panels . The dialogue is really good imo . And for the record title of thread says quotes and memorable moments of Wolverine , and it is one of the moments of Logan showing , how much badass he is to save someone who he cared about i.e Maureen , even he is old and not in his prime .

    "Chaos. It always ends in chaos. Madness, Disarray . No matter what i do , No matter who i try to be ....I can't stop the chaos from creeping back in. No matter what kind of order i try to surround myself with.....it always falls apart . Disorder , Madness . The longer i live , the more i think these are the only forces of nature. Maybe that's how i surrounded myself by the dead and maybe something broken deep in my brain , something that won't ever let me stop me believe maybe , just maybe , this time i can get things right . ALL I KNOW for sure is that when faced with chaos , all i know is to KEEP ON FIGHTING"

    @biswaboxz: Oh, for Christ sakes!!!

    OML was Millar trying to get away with not writing Wolverine in a Wolverine book. How is it possible that there are people who still dont get that?

    Yeah sure !!!!! U read Wolverine comics , right ? FYI most of them are bloodlusted or wolverine surrounded in bloodbath . And if i am not wrong Millar had written more than enough comics like that . Reference Wolverine MKS , Civil War , Nemesis , Kickass .

    So yeah u are right Millar wanted to get away from Logan , since he never wanted to write Wolverine . LOL

    EOTS had Logan turned into a generic Hand ninja for most of it, with big parts of the story told in other character's perspective. Hell, there are issues where he barely appears, in that story!

    Prisoner Zero is a story about a prisoner in a concentration camp who can't die. It's not a Wolverine story though. That character acts nothing like Logan and there's no way it fits in his continuity.

    OML stars a character that doesn't act like Wolverine, doesn't talk like Wolverine, doesn't even look like him! Hell, it should be a Cable story! At least fans could say he looks like him.

    No, Mark Millar never wanted to write Wolverine. He wanted the notoriety of writing him. His Wolverine books always had as little Logan as he could get away with which, apparently, is no Logan, since there's bunch of people tripping over themselves to congratulate him for his terrible stories and stay true to the saying that a fool and his money are easily parted.
