A long-lived mutant with the rage of a beast and the soul of a Samurai, James "Logan" Howlett's once mysterious past is filled with blood, war, and betrayal. Possessing an accelerated healing factor, keenly enhanced senses, and bone claws in each hand (along with his skeleton) that are coated in adamantium; Wolverine is, without question, the ultimate weapon.
In my opinion, Gambit can if he explodes his skeleton, which to me anyway, i'd say is still feasibly possible, even if it's adamantium, there is a point in every substance that its molecules weaken. Gambit has the ability to access those molecules and thus in MY opinion has the ability to explode his skeleton. Especially as this was reinforced in at least one of the comics. :)
Anyone who wields the Muramasa Blade can kill Wolverine since the sword contains a part of Wolverine's soul that he infused into it, it decreases a mutant's healing factor signifcantly as wounds inflicted by that blade on Wolverine before did not heal for several days which is much slower than his usual healing factor rate. Also Thor could probably kill him
as overated as wolverine is he isn't unkillable haha. um lets see, thor, gambit, magneto, x-man, franklin richards, AOA nightcrawler O_o, maybe even namor if you got him mad enough (not that hard). Thats just a couple off the top of my head though im sure theres lots more!
I'm thinking the absolute *weakest* person who could kill Logan would be Mr. Fantastic, who has been able to subdue him before in the Enemy of the Sate Arc. Just stay on him and suffocate him.
Beyond that, Toro or the Torches, who could just fly out of his reach, then nova-flame him into a Canadian Crisp.
In theory Cyclops could do it. In AoA he took off one of his hands, so there would be no reason he couldn't do the same with his head as well. Not 616 granted, but that's pretty irrelevant.

Even if Gambit did explode his skeleton I think his healing factor would definitely still revive him.
@G Bird: How could Logan heal himself if he's not in one piece? When a skeleton detonates, that means everything around and under/inside it goes with it as consequence of the explosion or what have you. So if Logan is splattered (if he's even still in pieces), I don't think he'd be able to revive, especially if his head (his adamantium skull) is exploded with his brain inside. lol
It'd be and interesting theory nonetheless, however in the comics Gambit has threatened to charge/detonate him before, so I think he easily could kill Logan if he chose to. :P And any qualm about Logan killing Gambit before he can charge him, in my opinion Gambit could charge from any part of his body, even his stomach being stabbed.
Anybody physically\telekinetically\etc. strong enough to hurl him near enough to the Sun. It's not like Logan's to be liked because he's an immortal god or something.

The second one is the Nitro one, isn't it? If so he did not die, he regenerated right after that, so bad reference, and the first one I do not really remember.
Let's see simply among mutants * Emma, Jean, Xavier, ........ "wolwie, drop dead" * Wanda, ...... "wolverine no more ..... " * Bobby (iceman) : * The little green guy who anihilates the mutants powers - wolwie will drop on the floor (adamantium is too heavy, is it?), and then we wait until the weight of the adamantium chest prevents logan from breathing - thus he dies due to no healing factor ... etc...
Deadpool (he has healing factor but can't ever die unlike Wolvie) Spider-Man (if he defeated a being who had the power to destroy a world, he can defeat Wolverine) Hulk (has done it in alternate universes) Sentry (has almost/has defeated Hulk) Punisher (has killed almost every hero in alternate universes)
Basically anyone with with reality warping, molecular manipulation, power sappers, muramasa, anyone who could bfr him, completely remove his brain so anyone that can phase or get inside his head and remove his brain, so alot of people.

Apocalypse and Magneto, warrior madness thor (then agian decapition will do it so reguler hor could kill him unless current wolverine has surppased that weakness) umm Thanos, darkseid, World Breaker Hulk, 8th day and Trion Juggernaut or Reed richards or Batman if they have prep.

Agreed slightly. Alternate universes do not count for 616 Logan. Hulk in the past has tried ripping him in half and couldnt even dislocate any joints infact no one has been able to rip any of Wolverine's joints. Hulk's best bet is to be worldbreaker and BFR into the sun.

I can agree with this, he isnt ripping him in half however. But sentry's bfr into the sun, and molecular manipulation could work.

No, not unless he had lots of prep and actual weapons that could put logan down for good and alternate universes for 616 dont count.

i agree with that list alot of molecular manipulators and people that can BFR him to the sun or come up with some crazy tech could do it easily.
Logan shouldnt be able to survive decapitation, however the only the only problem is the adamantium. People have tried to cut his joints, class 75 and class 100 people have tried to rip him in half, and tthey couldnt even dislocate any joints,
The Hulk? Wolverine apparently healed all the way back from his skull being pulverized, but Hulk did good. Also Magneto did reduce Wolverine to just flesh and bones (and healing factor of course) so paired with a couple other baddies he could obviously do heavy damage. Even by himself, since a) Magney is one of the most powerful Mutants and b) Magney can throw anything from cutlery to satellites at Wolverine, this has been said before. I wonder how strong Wolverine is against MENTAL attacks. Prof X might be ABLE to pose a threat, despite his Gandhi non-violence, but he WAS involved in a few decisions to kill, (Proteus, and i guess his own son) so if it comes down to it,.. Now, the wolverine i know had that Japanese influence too where he was a trained Samurai. SO! it's hard to tell about the telepathy thing too
