Hey I am new to marvel in general and I wanted to start reading wolverine stuff/ x men stories. I know nothing about his origin or anything. All i know is what I saw from the movies.

I'm open to stories from any era. If anyone has good current series to read that are new reader friendly that would help a lot. And older series or arcs as well so I can understand the character. I'm also open to xmen stories or xmen origin stories to learn more about them too

If there's a thread like this already please tell me, and thanks!

Read Wolverine: Origin by Paul Jenkins to get accustomed to Wolverine's history. Then read Wolverine by Chris Claremont.

    definitely these

also if you want some mini series, soultaker was good, and so was manifest destiny. Enemy of the state is a great read.

There's a lot of good Wolverine moments in general X-Men books as well, as one would expect. And not all of it from the classic stuff either. For example, I would recommend Whedon's Astonishing X-Men run for a Wolverine fan.
