    I recall hearing that Wolverine is an expert marksman, and that he's done some very impressive things with guns. Is this true? And if so, are there any scans or issue numbers where I could see this exhibited?

    @esquire: I can't really think of anything that consists of "very impressive" things as far as shooting goes for him. I know he has some accurate feats with his claws like slicing Geist's armor off, slicing the wings off of a fly that was on a guy's face without harming him, and ejecting his claws in gun barrels or through falling coins.

    As far as guns go, the only things I can really think of would be checking out issues involving his tenure in the Canadian army in WWI and two and his run in Team X. As far as team X goes I think they debuted in ...1992? I believe it was X-Men vol 2 issue 5.

    Sorry, Esquire. It isn't much but that is all I really have.

    You can try out the Wolverine Origins series I guess...they had some issues of a flashback with Logan in WWII. I'm sure there must be something about him with guns. Closest I could find was this preview scan from Wolverine Origins 19 (courtesy of Comixology):

    Not exactly 'expert marskman', but hey it shows him with a gun!

    @esquire:

    Well, Wolverine is an expert marksman, but he prefers hand to hand combat. If he's forced to use his marksmanship skills, he is deadly, but he rarely if ever shows it.

    @esquire:

    I would say somewhat, there aren't feats of him showing him being an expert marksman but he has fought in multiple wars where he has learned and mastered firearms and he was also a ninja or trained in ninjitsu so he should be pretty accurate with projectile blades as well.

    I'm also pretty sure he had to master archery as part of his ninja/samurai training.
