I dont want to sound, well like if i was insane, but since he is super duper hyper muper famous, Wolverine stop being Wolverine.
I miss Good Old Logan, you know the guy that was cool and every comic book fan loved and people that hated comic books hated.
    But i really miss him

In some of his runs I don't like some of his characteristics...but i can't really say that hes completely different in any of them.
I'm really enjoying his current run (not "The Best There Is"). Hes a bit more famous yes but no great character remains in the dark for long.
Just more people are realizing that hes a good character...overexposed at times yes =\...but still a good read.

Oh man, I totally agree...Wolverine stopped being Wolverine when Marvel decided to let him join the Avengers and tell his origin. It just took the whole mystery and suspense out of the character.

He's the same character, but he's been so overexposed and written by so many people it's impossible for him to consistently be as cool as he was in his heyday.

Joe Quesada have an antismoking politic, so in Marvel you can have an orgy, rape kids, use drugs, cut people in pieces, but not smoke.
Also Gambit stop smoking because of that.

@DeathpooltheT1000: Great points. Apparently smoking is the worst thing you can do. I'm not a smoker, and I certainly don't advocate smoking, but Marvel should face it; smoking is the least of Woverine's bad examples.

Same here, i dont smoke, but i mean this is something the Wolverine could do in the comics.
Wolverine:I will cut you head and go to that kindergarden and show your head to those kids.
Five minutes later, Wolverine does show those poor kids, the freacking head.
I mean, what is this morality thing?
Smoking is worst that killing in Marvel.
    Go figure that crap.

Problem with Wolverine = Too overexposed.

More fans would start liking him again if Marvel showed him a lot less. They should just give another character his spotlight for a while

@xxCellPhoneGirlxx: Agreed, except they should have more than just one character have that spotlight so it's shared, and no one is overused... If what I just spouted off makes sense.

@thegreatfour: I see what  you mean. Like add Emma Frost, Storm, Ms Marvel, Dare Devil, and Beast to the spot light or something :P (random characters i picked)

I feel one of the only reason why some characters are getting a large spot light is because of the movies. Like i don't remember seeing SO MUCH Iron Man until the movie came out. Yes it was amazing, but there is just so much rofl

@xxCellPhoneGirlxx: That's what team comics should be about. The spotlight should be distributed equally, or close to that. Granted there are times where a story is revolving around one character.

Yeah. The X-men movies with Wolverine were annoying. They kept revolving around him. I could somewhat except the first one with it. He was the new guy, and he had to prove himself, and all that, still it could have focused more on the others. The second one was where I got fed up. Even Magneto was tired of it, he even said "It isn't always about you". And the third one was the same story.

@thegreatfour: I so agree about the movies. However I LOVED Storm's leadership role of the x-men in part 3. Like it would have been extremely interesting to see what the x-men would have been like if they made a fourth movie with the aftermath of her leading. OMFG <3

Can someone give specific examples of how he is different?  Perhaps show situations from before and compare them to now...  I remember Wolverine from back in the 80s and I don't see much difference.

Honestly, the mainstream fans love Wolverine's overexposure.  In fact, big example, Wolverine's cameo in X-Men: First Class made the movie for a good majority of watchers.

@Amegashita: I do agree with his cameo. Lol it was hilarious, but what about the people who used to like Wolverine a lot and now are just really tired of him? As a child i was a really big fan of him. Now not so much.

@xxCellPhoneGirlxx:  When you're a big name company like Marvel, the first thing on your mind is money, and so you take advantage of whatever gives you the most money, anybody you turn off are just reasonable sacrifices.  Since Money > us.
