    how do you think people would would react to a non marvel chracter with claws like wolverine or similar 
    but if you compared  the two it would be like deathstroke and deadpool

    As I remember, there was a Wolverine-like minor villain in DC Red Robin comic book. I can't remember his name.

    It would definitely come across as a rip off. Maybe something like the bones of their fingers were really sharp and the skin retracted to expose them would be cool, but any orientation even close to Logan's is going to make people think Wolverine rip off.

    Wolverine-like characters happen all of the time in different medias. I remember a couple weeks back, a wolverine-type character was on No Ordinary Family.
