Possible, depending on showings. He's had his throat ripped out and was thrown in a lake before only to come out eventually. Wolverine fears drowning in that it won't kill him as his healing would keep him alive but he would be constantly drowning, reviving due to his healing factor. A limbo if you will.

well, most of these wouldn't actually kill him, even without oxygen he can survive, (in ultimate universe) but i don't know if he can regenerate without oxygen, probably he will be only off combat due to his missing limbs scattered . but not actually dead, cuz we have cells inside or bones right? that cells couldn't regenerate him after he is put back to a oxygenated condition? maybe he only can be stoped? oh god that is so confunsing, only if you get rid of his skeleton too it should work

You Kill Wolverine like this:

Ask Magneto to rip him to pieces.

1. Have Nightcrawler teleport him into space (NC wearing a suit so he's good).

2. Have Jean hold him in place while Cyclops blasts his body for a good hour. If Jean gets tired then Xavier will take the shift.

3. Have Hulk and Juggernaut go against him in the danger room, let them enjoy a slug-fest. Enough hits to the brain and he's done.

4. Like the picture above, have Storm shock him continuously while Bobby keeps him frozen in place.

5. As Magneto crushes him have Spiderman web his whole face enough so that as his body is breaking he suffocates.

@xmentas: Cyclops would get tired a lot faster than Jean and I highly doubt he can hold a blast for an hour strong enough to rip Logan to a skeleton and counterbalance the healing factor. He heals from brain damage. They would literally have to rip his brain or head and so far no one has even been able to dislocate a joint on his body, Hulk included. Suffocating or drowning isn't a permanent way to kill him either, Magneto would be able to do something though like crush him into a junk ball.

@god_spawn: Did you see wolverine during the fight in Schism? That wasn't even 30 minutes and Wolverine was reduced to skeleton.

@xmentas: Did you see Schism when Cyclops was sweating and on the verge of falling over when firing a beam at a sentinel for a short amount of time? The book was terrible.

@xmentas: I don't think I have ever seen Scott sustain a blast that long to begin with which is why I am doubting he would be able to when a higher level blast was gassing him out in moments. Repeated blasts throughout the day sure he can put up. Cyclops doesn't need to hold a blast on him for an hour though, he could just shred him to bones over and over with a moderately leveled blast with a short blast length period and eventually Logan's HF becomes taxed and he is done since Logan's flesh is not much tougher than a normal humans if at all.

He can be. The problem is keeping him down. Logan dies...all the time. His healing is just ridiculous. He has survived in orbit before. He has had his throat ripped out before and was kicked into the ocean only to eventually heal and come out later. Suffocating would kill him temporarily as would drowning as Logan thought that if he drowned his healing factor would revive him and he would die and be in this state of limbo. He would eventually die as his healing gets taxed but if say someone was to fish him and pump his body with nutrients, his HF would most likely revive him.

@god_spawn: I didn't really mean a full 60 minutes, just exaggerating that overtime constantly blasting him. And I've heard that there's been times Logan healed to the point that it was considered too much and people wouldn't even consider it official.

@xmentas: There was one time he regenerated from a drop of blood but it like touched a crystal or something. So idk if that is what you were referring to. He has regenerated from a skeleton about 2-3 times so at this point his HF is at least that potent.

@god_spawn: Seriously? I thought one of the limitations on his powers was that he couldn't grow back things he completely lost. In Age of Apocalypse he lost his hand. Then again, that was the '90s. My Wolverine information is probably rather out of date.
