I really hate to be asking this, but a friend of mine who's really into Wolverine was asking for some recommendations in terms of comics. Anyone know any good comics involving Wolverine?

MO, the first thing you should read through is Origin by Paul Jenkins. After that, I'd recommend checking out stuff like Logan by Brian K. Vaughn, Weapon X by Barry Windsor Smith, Logan by Brian K. Vaughn, Wolverine by Chris Claremoent, Enemy of the State by Mark Millar almost anything with Jason Aaron's Wolverine, Old Man Logan by Mark Millar, and it's just a single issue, but Wolverine vol 3 #41 by Stuart Moore is something I think a lot of people getting into Wolverine should check out.

Any wolverine fan will tell you that they are quintessential books and a must read. If your friend is a Wolverine fan than he will definitely like this.

The current Wolverine volume by Paul Cornell, is critically acclaimed by most Wolverine fans, as the run that finally made Wolverine a badass.
