Once upon a time there was a solo movie with Wolverine. Many of us have been trying to forget about it despite the word of a sequel. The good news is it was recently said that the next movie, The Wolverine, wouldn't be a full on sequel. So we can pretend the other didn't happen.

To make up for it, here is the first OFFICIAL photo of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine courtesy of Marvel's Agent M on Twitter.

He looks ready to kick all sorts of ass. You could say he got just a little ripped for this movie. Whoever is about to be on the receiving end of his claws better watch out.

Wolverine isn't supposed to be that sexy. And I'm not complaining.

From movie to movie he wears less. But my god, I'm not complaining. Yummy!

He has all of the lifter's veins. All of them.

I'm secure enough in my masculinity to admit that that's a good looking gentleman right there.

@god_spawn: I personally think he looks better like this than when he's gone beefier. He looks more like an animal, more agile and deadly. Sort of how Logan looked in Origins.

@Deranged Midget: He said in an interview he wanted to be like 210 or something like a year ago IIRC. He definitely looks a bit smaller than when he was in Origins and I wonder if he changed it. But considering how ripped he is in the first place and the fact he is like 6'2, I'd say he could be somewhere around there anyway just that he brought more definition of his size.

@god_spawn: From that angle, it's harder to tell how much he weighs exactly, but he's far more ripped than he was in Origins and for that film, he was stated to be 190. I'd say he's far more defined, his abs are thicker, his chest looks smaller but it looks like he worked on shoulders. I'd say he might be the same weight but maybe a little lighter. But damn, is he sexy. Oh, and I was referring to the comic series Origins btw :P
