Ok, this is a bit weird, but my childhood best friend and his partner were having a debate over the merits of California's proposed ban on infant circumcision. Honestly, I'm a bit lost on why it's a big issue in the gay community. Regardless, the conversation got a bit random and he asked me if Logan would have regrown his foreskin if he were circumcised at birth. I initially said no because it would have already been long healed by the time he got his powers, then I remembered he's had his member blown completely blown off (with the rest of his skin) and at least two occasions. So how did it grow back, cut or uncut?

If James Howlett had an arm cut off in the years before he'd developed his mutant powers; then that would not have regrown. However, given that he grew in a society where circumcision was not the norm, then it is highly unlikely he'd had that performed upon him when he was still a newborn baby.

Honestly, this sort of thing is funny in Mallrats. It's just sad in real life.

Pretty much what anyone else put down I agree with. His mutant healing factor didn't actually " activate " until a certain age, like most mutant powers do,
so it would have been a moot point.
" If he had " had his mutant power though, it would regenerate, just as his Lil' Wolverine did when the Hood shot it off.

This is a stupid issue to debate to be honest.

I dont see how he would be circumcised sense it wasnt as common as it is today and it is almost 50/50 now in the US.. i think it is like over 40 % no longer circumcise their children. Wolverine isnt jewish so he probably wouldnt have. Aside from that even if he was it wouldnt grow back unless their was massive damage to that area.. what i mean once his power activated it wouldnt grow back since it would already be healed.
 
aside from that Shadowcat didnt say anything when she and Jubes saw him naked when he was walking around the mansion naked. It would have been a perfect time to mention it especially with Kitty  being jewish.. anyways.. both ladies were impressed by Logan.. >_>

If only Jean Grey knew of his amazing skill at regrowing his royal jewels, she would've hooked up with him instead of Cyke.

 
@castleking: He has had to regrow the whole thing on several occasions, he's been reduced to a skeleton and had it shot off before. That's what's made me wonder.
