this in a nutshell. Wolverines bones themselves are only coated in metal, so it wouldn't actually effect what goes on outside with the surrounding tissues nor within, for if in fact those areas were made of metal, he would not only not be able to crack his knuckles, he would more than likely be unable to move. Daken and X-23 do not have adamantium coated/plated skeletons of course so it's non-factor in their case.

Considering the fact that the adamantium isn't covering his joints, the answer is yes.
