Dude playing Sabre needs to be taller....or the other way around....but whatever.

One's too tall, the other's too short, lol.... But I think it will still be cool to watch.  I was a little dubious about the short, dark-haired version of Creed at first; but I guess it makes more sense being that they're supposedly brothers and all.

"Personally, I was not too impressed with Sabretooth in the original X-Men movie (Tyler Mane).  Sure he was big and hairy, had claws, and roared; but come on, there was no "second best" or "runt" calling in the movie whatsoever.

Wolverine met Sabretooth, was like, "Who the Hell are you?  Let's fight." and that was pretty much it.  Now, we get to see the feud between these two as it was truly meant to be.... or at least, how Hollywood permits it to be.  Still, I think it will be really good.  But anyway, feel free to discuss the movie, talk about spoilers, etc..... even though it's still over a week early.And yes, I've already bought my ticket.  :P"

was not impressed with tis movie. It was entertaining but the story was lame.

God, Deadpool was MESSED UP... he had swords coming out of his hands, like wolverine. he can like teleport. has no mouth. just a naked guy with black lines on his skin. Good lord.... The first scene with kid wolverine shooting claws out and nuttin up pretty much sealed the deal. rather watch x-men 3.

Sabretooth = best character.. Hands down.

this movie looks like its going to be good, the only things that turn me off a little bit are weapon 11 and his optic blasts and baraka blades and them making victor and logan half brothers,
ill still like the movie,and ill probably see it on opening day, and ill probably buy the dvd, 
i liked all three x-men movies, belive it or not, so im deffinatley going to like wlolverine origins.

it came out yesterday and i was buzzing went and watched it and i thought it was mint and i really enjoyed it. is it as good as the dark knight? no it is'nt but it was a kick ass film. 4.5 out of 5

As long as you pretend you have never read an x-universe book, it should be good.

Just got done watching it.....

Yes, Deadpool was eventually disappointing.  Having swords coming out of his arms was a little much, but I was willing to accept it along with the teleporting.... and even the sealed mouth.  The battle of Deadpool against Sabretooth and Wolverine in the end was awesome though.  HOWEVER..... once Deadpool fired an optic blast, I lost interest.  That was just going way too far.

Gambit was alright.  I liked the part where Wolverine was facing off against Sabretooth in an alley, Gambit ran up behind Wolverine saying "I escaped that hell hole (the 'isalnd') and I ain't goin' ba...." and then Wolverine elbows him in the face so that he could get back to fighting Victor.  I was looking forward to something a little more "Cajun" from Gambit though.  There was no "chere" or "mon ami" from him at all.

In some ways, the ending was disappointing as well.  It almost left me saying, "That was it?"  However, after the credits, it showed Wolverine drinking in a bar.... in Japan.  Who knows?  Maybe they'll do a sequel telling of Wolverine's travels in Japan or something.

Overall though, I liked the film.  Hugh Jackman did an outstanding job as Wolverine (yes, even though he was "too tall" for the role).  I've always liked the way he put his own spin on the character.  Liev Schreiber delivered in his role of Sabretooth.  He was savage, yet intelligent.  This Sabretooth knew how to f#ck somebody up, but was not just some big dumb henchmen.  He was aggressive, savage, and twisted.... just the way Sabretooth was meant to be.  Granted, his sudden "change of heart" in the end of the film was kinda lame; but oh well.

I'd give it 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Did you stay for the second ending?

After the credits, it just showed Wolverine drinking in a bar in Japan.  I wouldn't really call that a "second ending."

The movie was entertaining with special affects and stuff, but overall the story was bad. After seeing the trailer I didn't expect much from the movie. And people had been overhyping this for months. Marvel didn't help with all the advertising either.

Considering how much he was shown in the trailers, I thought Gambit would have gotten more screen time than he did.

And what happened to Sabretooth at the end? He leaves the island and doesn't meet up with Wolverine for another 15 years, at which point he has decided that he hates him again?

1. What was the deal with the whole 'taking the head off' line? They mentioned 'taking the head off' probably half a dozen times in the movie. Is it just some inside joke from Wolverine comics that I have missed out on?

2. After his amnesia, when Wolverine asked Gambit what his name was, why did Gambit answer 'Logan'? For one thing, I don't remember Wolverine mentioning his real name to Gambit. And if he did, wouldn't he have told him 'Jimmy' or 'James'?

My friend told me about another ending with deadpool
A blade sticks out of the ground, the hand searches for the head, which is right out of reach. His mouth is ripped open. He stares into the camera. Looks right at you and says shhhhh...."

I can't wait to see the movie since wolverine is one of my favorite X-Men characters. Plus, I can't wait to see Gambit in action, bout time he's in a movie.

it was cute

I saw the ending in which soldiers found Wolverine's creator, William Stryker who planned to put Adimantium in his skull, and they say he needs to be questioned for the death of that one General.

First of all, I like the movie.

Now for the technical thing my friends (who are supposed to be well-read) were complaining about.

They said the adamantium bullets should not have been able to pierce Wolverine's head. Is this true?

And we all think Deadpool got messed over at the end, but I was ok with it. It's a movie adaptation.

I actually saw 2 of 3 endings in one showing: The Stryker one and the Deadpool one.
