so this new weapon x series has been pretty neat so far. although nothing i would be exstatic about. honestly, i think wolverine has enough books and appearances for anyone (or any two or three) characters in the marvel universe right now. its a bit annoying.

BUT, this issue was awesome. ok it is a wolverine story, so the actual plotline isnt amazing but its what you want. and what do you want in a wolverine story? you want a story good enough to put wolverine and some body worth fighting wolverine in a fight without being too cheesy. sure, theres laser claws in this comic but its not too cheesy. its awesome.

and i have to say, ron garney crushed it. the art absolutely blew my mind. the fights were sweet and i cant imagine someone drawing it any better. everything from wolverine jumping into a moving car to the huge splash page between him and the strikeforce x leader. pretty tight.

all in all, i have to give this a 5 out of 5. mostly because its what i wanted to see out of this comic and more. i read this book to get some action and good fights and see wolverine crush some peoples skulls, as well as get a decent story if not a great story and this has all that and more. pick it up for sure.

Wolverine: weapon x is a rareity of its own kind. not only is it a splinded read but the art is amazing. Now i could give you a complete panegyric * on Wolverine's sheer awesomeness but thats my opinion. It takes an amazing story to convince everyone else; issue 4 has done this. not only issue 4, but the series has played out so well it can entertain your brain with ease. There's humor there's gore but this is nothing like a deadpool comic. the entertaiment lies within Wolverine's own bad assness; from the talk of champane to berserker fights. You dont get a cliche you get the original uniqueness of Logan; something i would like to see more often. oh did i mention the art is fantastic! the expressions the color; i always get this quirky grin with this amount of gore. something to note is that this story is not life shattering neither is it a bore. All in all an entertaining tale for fans and a good stepping stone for new readers. i give it a 4 out of 5.
*readers note a panegyric is a praise about a person or thing.
