Hey kids, whiskey should NOT be used as a treat! FYI

    1. Cover art: 4.5/5.

I thought this cover was fantastic. Is it great? No, but it is eye catching, detailed, and fun. The detail on the BAMFs really did it for me, with their individual tattoos, eager expressions creating the chaos around the stoicly poised Wolverine. You can see, ISH is about to go down b/c Wolverine has had enough. Good cover.

    2. Story: 4/5

This is one of my weekly pulls and just when I was about to drop this sorry book, I have been recapivated. The story teeters on the serious and the silly, which I am okay with. Wolverine puts leashes on the BAMFs through the use of a whiskey trap and begins his hunt for his students and the Helfire club. There are a few scenes that I feal are "filler" scenes, really unnecessary to the story developing but an okay use of character development. For example, the Iceman and Kitty scene. This was a waste other than some comic relief and to further force the romantic relationship of Bobby and Kitty. We see a brief history of how Philistine came to be, which was very brief in description. He found a cave with a big mirror and killed his buddy in the process. I do enjoy the "mirroring" of the two schools and the characters involved. A true yin-yang book. Every character in the jean grey school has a darker, evil yang to their yin. The story concludes with Kade Kilgore unveiling his new "hellions" front and center and Wolverine on the verge delivering a serious beat down.

    3. Story art: 4/5

The art in this book mirrors that of the cover in it is simple, but highly detailed. It is obviously not going for realism, the art is highly colorful, able to portray emotion and movement very well, and very well done in relation to the vibe of the writing.

    4. Overall review: 4/5

Just when I was going to drop this book from my pull list, the colorful and adventurous art and spirit of this book has reclaimed me for at least another week. Any newcomer to this book can easily enjoy it without seeming lost. I recommend this book for sure.
