During the Cold War, Arkady Rossovich was forced into a Soviet version of the Weapon X program in order to become a Russian super soldier. The result of this experiment was the deadly Omega Red.

Cyber is a mutant and an enemy of Wolverine and the X-Men. He is also well known throughout the criminal underworld, where he often hires himself out as a special enforcer, he is currently using the Hornet identity.
She's a mutant with regenerative healing, six retractable bone claws and animal senses (just like Wolverine but without the adamantium).
Eddie Brock bonded with the dark alien symbiote after it was discarded by Spider-Man, becoming the first Venom. Later, Brock became Anti-Venom, but the symbiote was lost during the events of Spider-Island. Brock has also been forcibly bonded to the Toxin Symbiote by the Crime-Master, but has reluctantly given it up to stop Carnage. Recently he has re-bonded with Venom.
James MacDonald Hudson was the original Guardian and the first leader, and creator, of Alpha Flight. He seemingly perished in the midst of battle and his widow, Vindicator, took over the reigns of leadership after his death. He has since returned and is once again the leader of Alpha Flight.
Heather McNeil took over the leadership of Alpha Flight following the death of her husband Guardian, through the use of his Battle Suit. After her husband was revived and resumed the role of Guardian, Heather became the Vindicator and continued to be a member of Alpha Flight.
Amiko Kobayashi is the surrogate daughter of Wolverine. Saved by him as a young child and cared for since. Its been revealed that she is the last descendent of the Shosei Clan, Mystical Guardians of Japan.
