Plot Summary

Wolverine lures Dum Dum Dugan and S.H.I.E.L.D. away from Omega Red's hideout (where Jubilee is being held prisoner). Wolverine is still being hunted for attacking the White House. Armed with a decoy Carbonadium synthesizer, Omega Red shortly joins the pending attack on Wolverine. Wolverine discards the synthesizer, knowing that this will distract the others so he can make his way to save Jubilee. Omega Red fights his way through S.H.I.E.L.D. troops and is finally captured.

Wolverine has gained enough time to find Jubilee in the wreck of Omega Red's place. She is pinned under debris with part of a support beam piercing her stomache. Barely clinging to life, she asks Wolverine to help her. Knowing he has no other choice, he begs Dum Dum to save her and he will turn himself in.

Knowing how dangerous he can be and not to trust him, Dum Dum proceeds to shoot Wolverine several times point blank to ensure his capture.

At a holding facility, Logan is completely bounded with his lifesigns being monitored. Dum Dum orders all S.H.I.E.L.D. agents to leave as it was his decision to attempt to capture Logan without consulting his superiors.

As the agents leave, there is one straggler that rouses Dum Dum's suspicions. As he attempts to stop and question this agent, a fist with apparently two claws pierce Dum Dum's chest. He is left on the floor in a pool of blood.

This mysterious figure proceeds to the room that Wolverine is being held. Wolverine stares in disbelief as a tear streams down his cheek being face to face with his unknown son. This tear causes disgust in his son who then slashes his stomache. He calls him weak and says, "We'll meet again...'Dad.'" As Wolverine flatlines, his bonds release him and Wolverine is now left laying in a pool of his own blood.
