Plot Summary
After the stunning revelations of last issue, Daken now knows that he is merely a pawn and that his hatred of his father, Wolverine, is based upon a lie. Now, Daken and Wolverine—father and son—unite to track down the most fearsome being Daken has ever known. But they’re not the only ones looking for him…
Wolverine and Daken find themselves facing off against Cyber in their search for Romulus while in Northern Africa. Daken makes to attack right away but Wolverine stops him. Cyber has aligned himself with an Army of kids with guns. He proposes that they join forces because they all share a hatred towards Romulus. Wolverine doesn't buy it but Cyber says Romulus will have it in for him since he told someone (Nick Fury) that he exists and also gave proof. Wolverine and Daken refuse to side with him.
Later Wolverine tells Daken that he has a bargaining chip against Cyber, the location of the Carbonadium Synthesizer that can save his life. They come up with a plan.
Wolverine drives a jeep into the front of the compound that Cyber's holed up in. The kids shoot him to pieces but is surprised that only Wolverine's body is inside. Daken sneaks up behind him. When Wolverine comes to, Cyber is in chains and he's impressed. Then it seems that Daken has decided to side with Cyber after all as he slits Woverine's throat, saying he likes Cyber's plan better.
