    Warbird's Song.

Good: The issue was good. We get another, for the most part, focused issue but this time on Warbird and her backstory. I enjoyed her story and how she came to be the warrior she is today. I don't think I've latched onto a character as fast as her. I enjoyed how she was unafraid to stand up the P5 and even stood off against Emma briefly. The dialogue between characters was well written, I really like Aaron writing Emma. He has her down pretty well. The fighting was pretty good too and watching Cyclops trade eye beams with Gladiator was pretty cool and I liked Cyke trying to even talk him down. As far as the P5 goes, he seems like the least corrupted. My favorite scene was Warbird kissing Iceman's severed head and telling him she will bed with him when this is over and him just saying what a relief. It was awesome.

Bad: I can't complain about anything in this issue. It got everything it needed to across, the characters were handled well and it had some good fight scenes. If I had to say something then it would be Bradshaw's art. Overall, it is good, I prefer him over Bachalo on these fighting issues, but in some scenes he makes the characters look a bit toony. But this is such a small detail it doesn't bug me at all.

    Recommended: yes.

Loved this issue, and this is coming from someone who has been very critical of the X-Men books lately. Let's hope Warbird gets to stick around for a while and not suffer the fate of Lifeguard, Cerise, or Deathcry. I also liked the nod to Rachel vs the Death Commandos, and Gladiator's appearance. Please check my mini-review of Wolverine and the X-Men #13 here:http://bit.ly/Owun7AComments and feedback are always welcome!...
