Synopsis
Wolverine stands outside Sabretooth's cell and watches his nemesis lunge against a high tech energy force-field capable of stopping a full grown enraged elephant. Wolverine shrugs off the attempt and leaves despite Sabretooth's taunting.
Logan attempts to distract himself from his unwanted guest by working out, eating, watching television, and finally by going to bed. Something from a news report about a serial killer testing limits through pain makes Wolverine realize that Sabretooth is employing the same tactics against his energy restraints. He dresses and heads downstairs to witness Sabretooth withstand enough pain to finally push through his cell's energy barriers.
Wolverine and Sabretooth fight, but Sabretooth quickly gains the upperhand (Wolverine chooses to hold back, as he refuses to act as judge and executioner) and leaves Wolverine fairly thrashed on the floor. He moves for the door but is stopped at a threat from Wolverine. Sabretooth gloats that he is going to kill everyone close to Wolverine, which sends Wolverine into a rage. Wolverine slams Sabretooth against a wall and pops his outer claws on each side of Sabretooth's head. Sabretooth continues to provoke Wolverine, who succumbs and pops his middle claw up into Sabretooth's head.
Then reality shatters.
