Marvel is pleased to present your first look at Wolverine #9! Wolverine’s been sent him to Hell, forced into a brutal rampage against the X-Men, and had his mind torn to shreds by demons. Finally free, Logan’s only got one thing on his mind – payback! First on his list, the woman who put the gears of hell in motion, Mystique. Except, Wolverine’s not the only one who’s got her in his sights. Lord Deathstrike, the unstoppable new assassin, enters the fray to tear Mystique to pieces. Can Logan claw his way to her first? Acclaimed creators Jason Aaron and Daniel Acuña bring you what could be Mystique’s “Final Repose” this May, only in Wolverine #9!

Wolverine has tracked down Mystique but so has Lord Deathstrike, an assassin hired by The Red Right Hand. Mystique is able to keep one step until Lord Deathstrike gets a lucky shot. Wolverine tries to catch Lord Deathstrike but he uses his phasing ability to get away. Mystique pleads with Wolverine to leave The Red Right Hand alone, but Wolverine wants revenge, so upon hearing that the Red Right Hand is in Mexico, he kills Mystique.

That doesn't seem to be the end of Mystique her body is then sold to the Hand.

Finally back in his own body, Wolverine is on a mission to get revenge on everyone involved with sending him to Hell. First on his list, Mystique. The GoodI'm really enjoying the fact that we're 9 issues in, and it's technically still the same story arc. Now that Wolverine is in his own body, it's time to go after the people that put him in there. As we saw in the last issue, the only thing in Wolverine's mind is literally revenge, and by golly, he's going to get it.There's a lot of great action ...

    Killing Mystique...again?!? 0

Ok, I like Wolverine a lot, I admire Jason Aaron's writing and I dig a lot Acuna's unique talent and style, so why such a low rating? SPOILERS ALERTI don't even know where to start from, oh wait, let's not go too far, let's start with the principle, basic rules of geography and physics: in this spectacular issue, Jason Aaron creates a hit-man, named Lord Deathstrike, ok, a new character, that's good right? Not so much, since he has a technologie that allows him to shoot a man from Argentina to C...

    Mystique Exit Stage Left?! 0

I would have to honestly say this is my pick of the week! Wolverine by Jason Aaron has dragged me to the pits of Hell and back and I just cannot get enough of it. In the last issue Wolverine was literally in the fight for his life, if not his soul. After just barely overcoming numerous obstacles Wolverine has little time for rest, because he is on a warpath of revenge. I think whats most refreshing about this issue is first and foremost Daniel Acuna's art. each page is like dash of van gogh colo...
