My review is probably a lot like G-Man's

I've probably said this before, I hate Wolverine. He's a "extreme" version of Captain America in many ways. The worst part is, he's everywhere. I can't turn to the left without seeing that stupid costume right in front of my stupid face. Every arc of his comic, that I've read, has sucked with a few exceptions.

    • Wolverine Origins: Deadpool Run

Thankfully, I can add one more to that short list: Old Man Logan. Thank god someone gave this guy a little more depth, it was driving me nuts. To quote G-Man, "I don't want this to end". I completely agree. The guy is in every single Marvel book, and probably snuck himself into the background of at least 10 DC books this week alone. We're back at a place with this book where we don't know his history, only pieces, which is great. As I've said before, his change into a passive man is the best part of the book. How far will someone have to go before Johnny boy loses it? well, you pretty much find out in this issue. (Disregarding the slash towards the hulkgang two issues prior)

What intrigued me most about this issue was the hierarchy of the Kingpin regime. It feels as though America took a few giant steps back to the Medieval Era, where everyone was at each other's throats for the thrown.

This fantastically fun read was inches away fro pick of the week, due to New Avengers being a tad more engrossing. I highly recommend this book and to pick up the two prior issues.

I can't belive how much I'm enjoying "Old Man Logan."  What's not to like?  It's written by Mark Millar and drawn by Steve McNiven.  That's reason enough to like it right there.  There's also a version of Wolverine we haven't already seen a million times plus Hawkeye's in it.  The idea that Wolverine hasn't popped his claws in fifty years is intriguing.  We still don't know what happened to him and why he is so against conflict.   And let's not forget that the Spider-buggy is in it too. This is t...

This issue was pretty wick, that's for sure.  I honestly don't think there's a single thing that I can complain about with this issue.  Actually, the only thing that I can kinda shrug my head at is the whole genealogy aspect of it.  So, Spider-Man had a daughter who is black and hooked up with Hawkeye (perv!) to produce the new Spider-Girl(Woman)?  The only thing that doesn't make sense there, and it may have been explained in a previous issue (catching up on the last two years of comics here), ...
