I never have a bad thing to say about Simone Bianchi's art as it is always a great sight to behold, and this issue was no different. I think Bianchi did a great job in portraying a "typical" wolverine story arc. I'm a little disappointed in Loeb's writing because he has been on quite a few work of note (Collaborations with Tim Sale etc.). This arc dealt with more manipulation of Wolverine's origins and how yet again he has done something and been seemingly oblivious to his dealings. The arc wrapped up nicely in this issue but had some kind of filler in the couple issues before it. I think this could have been done in an annual instead of spread over 4 issues. With this ending there has been left a pretty big window for a Romulus/Sabretooth comeback which I hate to admit I am dropping the series over.
It also seems, in recent Wolverine, that everybody has some sort of a healing factor which for me was a minor part of Wolverine's character in my initial interest in him. Over the last decade or so more characters have seemed to have it coincidentally and then comeback in strange and mysterious ways. It's hard to get behind this character when you're always in a predictable retrospect.
