Miracles is the second part of Wolverine's two-part Acts of Vengeance tie-in by Archie Goodwin and John Byrne and continues our story which pits Wolverine up against Tiger Shark and the evil government of the fictional country Terra Verde.

This issue is more or less the same as the last one but more finite. We get to see some more Wolverine vs. Tiger Shark and that's about it. More of the story strands from Wolverine continue here but unless you're reading the book regularly, they don't have much use when it comes to Acts of Vengeance. Sadly the Wolverine vs Tiger Shark battle isn't quite as no-holds-barred as one would hope from the two savages, but it is superbly drawn by John Byrne.

We also continue on the story of everyone's favorite never-again-seen superheroine La Bandera as she leads a rebel assault on the nasty man in charge of Terra Verde only for everyone but her to be killed by Tiger Shark. Quite a pitiful little revolution really. Also we get to hear some more about the "magic cocaine" which is just a hilarious concept out of context.

Wolverine's Acts of Vengeance tie-in has been good fun even if it is only a very loose tie-in to the saga. Tiger Shark is a great villain and a terrific match for Wolverine and it's just a bit disappointing to not get a full-on rage ridden scrap between the two. While there's a lot more Wolverine than Acts of Vengeance in this two-parter, it's still pretty readable.
