I've loved Jason Aaron's run on Wolverine and his "Wolverine's Revenge" arc has been rock solid. But issue #12 may be an example of "going to the well one to many times". The last few issues have had the same structure: Wolverine fights one of the Red Right Hand's enforcers while we are introduced to members of their secret group through flashbacks. This structure has worked great in previous issues but I'm starting to want something a little different. Aaron's flashback story in this issue is...3 out of 3 found this review helpful.
This issue is a SHOCKINGLY bad departure in Jason Aaron's otherwise EXCELLENT run on Wolverine to date (including Weapon X prior to the Wolverine relaunch). Up till' now, this series had been so good it's actually made me angry at Jason Aaron for making me give a damn about Wolverine; a character I've been determined to ignore as much as I can manage due to the ridiculous overexposure he's enjoyed these past 20 or so years.
