    Wolverine Fights For His Love...Mariko. 3

    Chris Claremont is one of the best writers of his time and the same goes for Frank Miller's art. This story is about Wolverine and his animal rage . Lord Shingen disproves of Wolverine but knows that his daughter, Mariko, loves him. Wolverine must prove his honor by fighting Lord Shingen with wooden swords and not his claws. Wolverine is good with a sword but Shingen is far better. Shingen gets several hits in making Wolverine mad. Wolverine uses his claws, as he lets his animal side get the bet...

    KILL BILL! Or at least that is what I think of when I read this story since both main characters (Wolverine and the Bride) had to go to Japan to fight off their rivals.
