Do you remember the other issues the Blood Sword appeared in? I'm trying to gather info on the little bugger.

@strider92: Artifacts 1 through 14 or so. I don't remember it having any further appearances in Witchblade. It was also discussed in the aphrodite files.

@wyldsong: For some reason I thought I remembered another appearance in WB. Maybe I'm thinking of Artifacts!

Oh and have you seen Artifacts 34!? Suddenly i'm less upset about Jackie dying!!!!!!!!! IAN'S BACK WOOT!!!!!! I'm soooooooo happy! All I need now is an ongoing and my pull list would be complete!

@strider92: I need to recheck, but there is the scene where he goes into the shop and steals the sword, but nothing much happens there. I think it may even be at the end of the issue where Sara first deals with it (but I am not home and cannot check at the moment). Finnegan I do believe get's the blood sword in Artifacts, but I could be misremembering. Then there is the scene where Ian breaks out of jail, and goes to get the sword from Finnegan, which should all be Artifacts. I'll have to recheck it all tomorrow.

As for Ian coming back, heck yes. I am more than onboard with that=)

@wyldsong: Awesome thread, now please remove any references to the witchblade anime. It was an abomination all fans of the great comics that is Witchblade.

Glad you liked it friend, and while I can understand the polarizing nature of the anime to various factions of fans...it is still canon to at least the pre-Rebirth universe, and gets a mention for purely the ability showings.

I did at least keep it to only 3 things though=)

considering there are like 3 possible future witchblade wielders and when you do the time math, it's impossible for all of them to exist along with the post-rebirth throwing all kings of things into flux. I refuse to consider that monstrous raping of one of may favorite comics as canon.

@crom_cruach: Regardless of what we choose to accept or not, it's still considered canon as stated by Top Cow. Fuzzy math in the time line is a time honored tradition in comics (see the mess that is the new 52), and things that can't possibly fit in a time line tend to happen all the time.

Making them impossible to be canon. So I'll choose to ignore it.

Hopefully they'll make better use of him then they did in the Artifacts Crossover that led to the Rebirth.

Then there is a lot in the world of comics for you to ignore, since there is a ton out there that does not fit into the various time lines, but to each their own=)

No problem. I only wanted to point out the new healing scans, since Aphrodite IX is partially flesh and blood, so she could benefit from the healing aspect. I also just added two scans to the energy projection and the morphological sections that could be helpful.

I have got to say though, I love seeing the Witchblade in 2 CaVs running at the same time=)
