    Perfect "jump on" issue

A lot went down with First Born but this issue does a great job of giving a re-cap. Just like they say, it's a new chapter.

This issue wasn't non-stop action, like some of the recent ones. That is good though. The characters need time to be themselves and to be able to develop more. We see more into the private life of Sara. We see her new place. Heck, we even (sort of) see her breast-feeding baby Hope. Some very human characteristics if you ignore the whole forces of light and dark and the strange conception.

We also see Dani trying to gather more information about the Witchblade from the Curator. He's as cryptic as always but you get the feeling that something big or bad is about to happen. Then there's the new guy in Dani's life. I have to say I have my suspicions about him also.

Ron Marz (with the help of Ian Edington) are spot on, as usual with the writing and dialogue. The art was nice too. It's sometimes hard to read an issue when a new art team takes over. There were times when the thought completely left my mind.

So overall, a little light on the action but heavier on the character development. Some things are set up that will leave you waiting for the next issue.
