gmanfromheck's Witchblade #110 - Temptation review

Not as solid as the last few issues

I hate to say it but this issue felt a little like a filler issue. First of all, it should have been called Magdalena instead of Witchblade. I haven't read much about Magdalena before so I can appreciate this as it fills me in a little about the character. In this issue and in First Born #2, it seems that she may be playing a pivotal role in helping Sara with the birth. Maybe I've been a little spoiled with the action and suspense of First Born and Witchblade lately but this issue just didn't seem to be at the same level.

The art by Stephen Sadowski was nice. He draws a good looking Magdalena. What I did notice though is the art seemed to fall a little flat on the last couple pages. It was a little weird. Magdalena looked good but Dani didn't seem to have the same amount of...detail. But it was still good.

Another downside for me is I actually read First Born #2 before this issue. So I pretty much knew how this would end since it leads into issue 2 and has a little overlap.

So overall, a good issue. After First Born #2, I'm looking forward to Witchblade #111.
