In the 1940s, Prof. Grant performed experiments on a far away island, turning most of the animals of the land into humanoids. in the late 90's, Superboy found the island and the natives, The Wild Men! Edit
Although the Wild Men is the name of the humanoid animals on the Island, only a few of them stand out in the Superboy series, such as the tiger prince, Tuftan, and the island's top warriors Howler, Growler, and Lady Tawna.
