Why I Love Kyle Baker
This is one of those stories everyone should read. Kyle Baker won many hearts over with this comedic story about life. It is a bold life story of a clinical lady, that only a confident black man like Kyle Baker can tell.
Kyle Baker makes shows us the truth of life, but has fun with it. Sprinkling little facts like Global Warning and why Riots work over non-violence resistance. Every social comment is on point and perfectly executed.
I enjoyed the layouts, with the words under or besides the panels. This is used so the panels can be enjoyed and the words not being bubbles obstructing what is in the panels. Kyle Baker also keeps our attention with short chapters, 23 in total.
As for the Art, the cover is the nicest art in the who book, but the interior art may not be as animation like in his current works, but it speaks volumes for the story. The facial expressions at times are enough to get you to laugh without the help of the supporting Text.
Why I Hate Saturn is the book that won him his acclaim. If you never read a Kyle Baker comic before or want to check out more, this is thee book to get you hooked to the wonder style of Kyle Baker.
