    Whit appears in issue seven of the Drawn & Quarterly comic book series, Optic Nerve.

    Whit was created by Adrian Tomine.

    Character Evolution

    Whit is Vanessa's boyfriend. Though he loves Vanessa, and tries his best to be a good partner for her, she cheats on him with a local musician named Carlos. It is Neil who tells Whit about the affair, also confessing that he followed her to the chemist and saw her buying a pregnancy test. When Whit hears of her betrayal, he tracks the pair down, beating Carlos so badly that he ends up in hospital.
