History
At an early age, David Cannon discovered he could move at incredible speeds. He decided to use his power to rob banks. After several defeats by Giant Man and the Wasp he decided to become the chauffeur of Janet Van Dyne. At first using the name 'The Human Top' , he has fought the two heroes multiple times, before changing his costume and name to Whirlwind. Cannon eventually joins the Masters Of Evil led by Crimson Cowl (Ultron). After many defeats against the Avengers in both the Masters of Evil and Lethal Legion, he upgrades his costume and then joined the Masters of Evil that Baron Zemo Jr. started. Whirlwind was caught when he accidently got captured in one of Trapster's traps during a fight with Captain America. He has fought the Avengers and the Pyms a few more times untill he was forced to join Baron Zemo's team of Thunderbolts.
