Check out the beauty that is Mickey Rourke...that came out wrong...


We saw the first Iron Man poster giving us our first glimpse of the the full suit as well as what we can expect War Machine to look like. Now, courtesy of Apple, feast your eyes on the latest movie poster featuring the Iron Man 2 villain, Whiplash. What do you think of Mickey Rourke suited up as Whiplash? Personally, I think the only word that can fully describe this image is "badass."

Upon first viewing, this looks pretty amazing. Especially with the glowing "whips".  
However, something seemed oddly  familiar about it. That's when it hit me....

Wait....is that going to be his full / final costume? Seriously? If so that is really disappointing......
 
The best word to describe that poster is intense, there is an oddly disconcerting intensity with Rourke's stare lol

i think he needs a proper breast plate 
not dissimilar to iron mans mark 1
like just a sheet of tron protecting vital organs and stuff

I think the newspaper articles in the background make it interesting. Looks like Whiplash has a bit of a grudge against Tony...

Little needs to be done to Rourke's face and physique to make him look like a villain.   Full of Badassery with a capital B.   

  Is it possible this is a protoype suit and not  the final gear?

Whiplash looks cool. I wish his costume looked more like the original though. The electric whips are awesome, but his trousers and stuff look like he's just been dragged through a hedge.

Yeah Mickey is an intense actor Rainmaker, 9 1/2 weeks, Sin City, Wrestler all huge roles.....

My only issue is SPOILERS
 
I feel Ironman 2 was just starting to get a little overloaded,
No it didn't fail, the action is great,  its a fantastic and entertaining movie I just wish actors were given more time and Mickey's scenes seemed all too short. I know some people think Dark Knight was long but some films need to have that long duration to work right
 the problem Ironman 2 is they were cramming a lot of top quality actors into a short 115 min movie
