Wetworks, bent on the avenging of deaths of innocent children weeks earlier, attacked and destroyed Wayne Gordon,the man responsible for the heinous acts. While battling the armor-clad Gordon, Blackbird was killed. It was then that the team bore witness to the incredible power of Pilgrim. By altering the space-time continuum, she was able to reverse the mortal wounds to her brother, much to the shock of the team. Pilgrim also revealed that the Bloodqueen is coming, for her final confrontation with Dane.
