Westerner is a student in the Legion Academy. He has the ability to absorb the strength and endurance of others. His power is mystic in origin. Edit
The Santoza family has for generations been inheritors of an ancient, mystical power. The details of it's origins are lost, but it's effects are clear from point of activation: the power allows its user to draw strength and endurance from those around him and use it himself.
While this may sound like a godsend, Timothy was not capable of properly harnessing the power. After being taught by a shaman the finer points of control, Santoza applied for the Legion Academy as The Westerner. He was present for the Legion's investigation into the shooting of Laurel Kent, and on several of the cadet training missions. Santoza, however, never really managed to shine enough to qualify for Legion membership. After the disbanding of the Legion, Santoza did some commercials for television and some teaching work on the outermost frontier colonies.
