After saving the general's life, Buddha's Chapra becomes his adopted son and trains with the royal guard in the hopes of someday succeeding his adopted father's revered position. But what happens when the general finds out he is really a slave, the lowest social caste not even worthy of being looked at by a common man? Meanwhile, Chapra's real mother travels the desert in search of her son, but she and her friends are quickly running out of supplies. In order to get some food, one of them will have to be sacrificed to a giant snake if any of them are to see their destination!
