Which Watchmen character would be the best president?

Which Watchmen character would make the best president. Don't say Dr.Manhatten because he knows all that happens or has happened which would give him a big edge on desiions he would make. Before you say Adrian Veidt let it be known he is so liberal he is pretty much socialist. Socialism isn't good. Socialism bad. I say Rorschach because he is conservative and would most likely stick to the ways of the constitution like they are supposed to be or Captain Metropolis because he was a military strategist and has his head in the right place.

Nite-Owl II I was thinking might be a possible maybe but then again he'd be one of those guys that isn't sure which path to choose. Thats the whole point of his character isn't it. He's obviously good moralwise but he'd be the guy that isn't sure who to listen to.

The U.S. constitution should be preserved that's what Walter would do. Extreme right wing can't be near as bad as extreme left wing. The thing about determining wheither government is good or bad is based on the countries that are in bad condition because of government. Like Russia or the Soviet Union they were communist they are a pretty poor country same goes with China. America is going downhill because of pure left wing people.

No, what Walter would do is viciously assault foreign heads of state, and pretty much everyone else in the political world, both inside the U.S. and abroad. Very few people view the world in black and white moral certitudes. Pretty much no politician in the world does. Rorschach was a violent psychopath, with a tendency towards multiple personality disorder. "GIVE ME BACK MY FACE!" would be everyone's new catchphrase, because obviously President Kovacs wouldn't be permitted to wear his mask all day. Setting Rorschach up in public office would be a three ring circus that would last days at the very most.
Veidt is the only one stable enough to even run for office successfully. Most of the Watchmen have intense anti-social tendencies, and Nite Owl and Silk Spectre are both far too indecisive and neurotic to serve as public servants in any position of power.

Comedian for president? Hmmm... I think best choices are Rorschach,Nite Owl I and II and Captain Metropolis. Comedian might be ok because he's conservative but wouldn't likely be elected as president because he has too much stuff you could black mail him for. Attempted rape,shooting a pregnant woman,and being alittle nuts.
