Personally, I adore Nite Owl! Dan is so adorable! I'm aware of the fact that he's a complete geek, but he is the most human character I've even seen in a comic book. Alan Moore did a beautiful job on his personality.

Adorable? hehe Anyway, Rorschach because he's the opposite of adorable.

Rorschach. Not only is he generally just awesome, he has some wicked cool lines.

"The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout “Save us!”… …and I’ll look down and whisper, “No.” "

Nite-owl is basically Batman wannabe fused with a lame version of Clark Kent for personality (and I don't even mean Superman)

in other words...LAME

#23 Posted by MrsJ (305 posts) - - Show Bio

He's so great. I don't know exactly why, but I love his character...this is so in contrast with the fact that my absolute favourite comic book character is the Joker. =P I don't know I just something about his geekiness got to me. He's some how adorable.

I kinda liked Nite-Owl

I'm glad someone other than me likes him as well.

well...maybe my problem is I don't look for cute in my middle-aged, unattractive male superheroes but I'll respect your views on the matter and just accept the fact that you like him :P

Actually he's basically the Blue Beetle. He was pretty lame for most of the series though. Then again, that was the point...

the spandex doesn't lie :P

I know he was based on Blue Beetle, but I've always seen him like that, blame Owlman for the connection
#31 Posted by MrsJ (305 posts) - - Show Bio

I guess I liked Nite-Owl because he was the most "human" character out there. I understand why people would like Rorschach and I liked him too, but he wasn't my favourite. He was a very "Batman" type of character in terms of personality, which I liked, but still not my favourite. People think I'm crazy when I say that both the Comedian and Rorschach are my second favourite characters and Nite Owl is my favourite...would YOU think I'm insane for saying I actually liked the Comedian?

Nobody said:
Same, Ozymandias would probably be my fave too. Then again I've yet to actually read the comic xP

well you do like the Joker so pleading the fact that you have retained any of the sanity you may have formerly possessed is beyond argument :P

but, I like the Comedian too as a matter of fact...the Spectre/Owl duo was the only people that bored me, I even liked those two guys that shared the same name but did nothing better

Apparently...? I don't have unlimited resources of money and motivation to order all comics I read about, but this is one of the comics I plan on getting.

Lol. It makes me wonder when people say they are comic fans and still haven't gotten around to reading Watchmen.

Not everyone has the same taste in comics. Thank god they don't.

I know it's just that it's claimed to be the greatest comic of all time, so why not read it?

Alright, alright. Fine, I will no longer bug those who haven't read Watchmen. Okay? I just thought it was an obvious read.

I was joking just so you know ^^

I know you stick to your Legion as if its the only comic in the world, but you should try reading Watchmen sometime before the movie comes out

I think the same thing except with The Sandman, Watchmen is good and all...but I still put it second in greatness to Neil Gaiman's work

LOL Legion's getting cancelled, and by the way it's not the only thing I read (fyi). Recently I've started to read a little of Green Lantern and I've been reading Spider-Man (Ultimate also) earlier...I don't talk about all comics I read...oh yeah and I'll see if I can order Watchmen anytime soon.

Since I don't have anything more to say here (and it's getting off-topic <.<), I guess I could take a look...slowly backs out of thread!

Neil Gaiman is good but I'm honestly hesitant to read Sandman since I frankly thought Lucifer sucked...

@Drift: LMFAO, Lucifer was written by Mike Carey...not Gaiman
